Unemployed people receiving financial assistance expired in January 2021. They will be given financial assistance for two more months. As part of government initiatives to support the market, officials from the Ministry of Labor and OAED will inform them about the first month’s payment.
The financial assistance for the unemployed whose term has expired in January 2021 will be extended from Monday, March 1.
Financial assistance for the permanently unemployed;
Automated unemployed who are long-term unemployed and, according to OAED records, if they are entitled, they will be financially supported by the Greek government during this period. No action is required for this. Assistance in their bank account Will be transferred.
Details of two-month extension :
For the automatically unemployed, the total amount is 798.5euros for two months and 399.2 euros for one month. 10% increase for all members.
For financial assistance for the long-term unemployed, the total amount of financial assistance is 400 euros, which is 200 euros a month.
Unemployed people whose financial assistance ended in January will be paid in March and next month’s payment will be made in April.
Only those who receive OAED funding are entitled to remain unemployed during this period. If they start working during this period, they will not be able to benefit from this extension.
They will only be able to get financial support during the days when they are unemployed. These unemployed people will only benefit from the proportion of those days.
