OAED has announced 37,000 new jobs.
But these jobs will only be for those who are registered in OAED for unemployment.
These 37,000 jobs will be provided to the already unemployed people registered in OAED through 7 programs.
OAED created 2,197new jobs In February 2021.
In January 2021, OAED announced another 2,000 new jobs.
1,362 more job vacancies and 1,298 vacancies were found in 2019, 2020.
Description of OAED’s 7 programs to provide employment to the unemployed;
36,600 new jobs will be created through these programs, which will include full pay and insurance.
1. Labor Market Reintegration Checks Program
In which 9,200 jobs will be restored. Their monthly salary will be 830 euros. And this will be a one-year contract with a duration of 12 months.
2. Long-term jobs for people aged 55 to 67.
The program will have 8,500 new jobs. These unemployed people will be given jobs for 12 months in NPDD, public enterprises ,as well as enterprises of municipalities and regions with, and an extension of 12 months is possible, 750 euros per month.
7,000 jobs for the unemployed 30 year old and above in the regions of Eastern Macedonia, Western Greece ,Epirus, Thessaly of central Macedonia, lasting 12 month.
The duration of the employment will be for one year and the details of the monthly salary are the following:
3. 473 euros per month for a 45-year-old employee.
568 euros per month for a 50 year old employee.
615 euros per month for long-term unemployed employment.
The long-term unemployed 50-year-old will receive a monthly salary of 710 euros.
4. Graduate employment program for the unemployed up to the age of 39 years;
The program will employ 5,200 graduates. It will have 15-month short training programs for special skills. They will be paid 800 euros a month with 60% salary and subsidy in these jobs.
5. Employment program for the unemployed youth between the ages of 22 and 29.
This employment program is for 3,500 young people will continue for 10 months. 75% subsidy and monthly salary will be 750 euros.
6. Program for Acquiring Professional Experience for the Unemployed 18-30 years old
The duration of this program will be 30 months. 100 per month allowance and insurance OAED will be paid till the completion of this professionalization.
7. Programs for the weaker economic sector.
The program will provide 12,00 new jobs with a duration of one year. It is possible to extend the employment duration for another year.
The subsidy is 90% of the monthly salary and the monthly salary will be 800 Euros.
Note: Greek Holidays , Holidays of Christmas and Easter allowances are also part of the program.
